GAMIT/GLOBK In A Day

Pasadena Convention Center, Room 101, Pasadena, California, USA
26 March 2023

This workshop will be led by Prof. and Dr (MIT).

Original information for this course, including the announcement and description, is on the GAGE/SAGE 2023 Community Science Workshop web site under the "Short Courses" menu item.

This course is designed to be an introduction to the most common uses of GAMIT/GLOBK: generating geodetic time series and velocities from GNSS data for tectonic geophysics studies. Participants are welcome to attend for informational purposes, such as trying to understand if the GAMIT/GLOBK software will be useful for a given project, but we encourage all participants to complete prerequisite tasks before attending this course, including reading through the GAMIT/GLOBK Quick Start Guide and Introduction to GAMIT/GLOBK (more detailed reference manuals for GAMIT and GLOBK are also provided), installing the software and at least working through the example. Please contact your institution's registered license representative for the current username and password to chandler.mit.edu, or if your institution is not licensed to use GAMIT/GLOBK, to download the latest release of GAMIT/GLOBK.
